Our summer STEM Exploration Camp is an intensive, all-day, week-long program featuring a rotation of STEM subjects to build core skills problem solving, collaboration, navigating digital media and tech, mathematics, growth mindset and adaptability.
At the close of every Self-eSTEM STEM Exploration Camp, something remarkable happens. Young people who spent a week engineering, problem-solving, and building together step in front of a room, and present what they made.
That moment is the Summer Camp Innovator Showcase.

Innovators present their final projects to a panel of judges that includes community volunteers and, when possible, industry professionals. Each team or individual is evaluated on their work and competes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place recognition for their age group.
The experience is designed to mirror what innovators and entrepreneurs actually do, stand behind an idea, explain how it works, and make the case for why it matters. For many Innovators, it is the first time they’ve done anything like it. It is rarely the last.
When a young person presents their project to a working engineer, technologist, or business leader, the message is clear: your work belongs in this room.
Bringing industry professionals into the judging panel is intentional. It connects Innovators directly to the world they’re preparing to enter, and signals to them, in the most tangible way possible, that the people building that world are paying attention.

The Summer Camp Innovator Showcase is where the impact of investment becomes visible.
It is one thing to fund a program. It is another to watch a young person, who may have never engaged with STEM in this way before, present a finished project to a room full of people who believe in them.
For partners, it is a direct window into the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers coming out of our communities. For funders, it is evidence that the model works, that a week of intentional, project-based STEM education can produce young people who are ready to own what they’ve built.
The Summer Camp Innovator Showcase is made possible by the volunteers, industry professionals, and funders who show up for our Innovators.
