✅ 2025 STEM Exploration Camp Updates!

July 11 Camp Setup Announcement:

For those of you assisting with setup today, please enter through the front entrance of Oakland Technical High School and text/call 314-809-3237 or 510-693-3654 if you need to be let in. For anyone driving, the parking instructions can be found below.

For Parents/Caretakers:

1. Camp Location: Oakland Technical High School, 4351 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94611.
2. Parking Options: School parking lot entry is on 45th Street (by girls gym) or street parking on 45th Street.
3. Saturday, July 19 – Close Out Celebration is from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Oakland Technical High School.
4. REQUIRED three (3) pre-camp surveys due by July 7.
   • Self-eSTEM – “Sisterhood in STEM” Information Survey (requires one submission per child)
5. Please review our MANDATORY Health and Safety Document prior to camp start date.
6. Daily arrival / pickup times: 8:30am (breakfast is served at 8:30am and camp starts at 9:00am). Pickup is between 4:15pm – 4:30pm.
7. Field Trip to The Tech Interactive is Thursday July 17th.
   • Please arrive between 8:15am – 8:45am. Pickup is 4:30pm. Lunch and snacks are provided.
   • MANDATORY review of the The Tech Interactive – Photo-Opt Out Form (if needed)
8. Interested in volunteering? Sign up HERE by July 7.
9. Parents Post-Camp Survey (SURVEY WILL OPEN JULY 18TH)

For Anyone Volunteering:

5. Please review the camp description and the orientation slide deck prior to camp start date.
6. Breakfast, lunch, and beverages are provided.
7. You will receive a Self-eSTEM branded T-shirt to wear during your volunteer shift.
